ETHICS POLICY

AQUAFOCUS publishes original scientific articles by academicians, students, scholars, teachers, trainers and other Aquaculture industry professionals and stakeholders and experienced writers. All authors are expected to cognise and adhere with our ethics policy prior to submitting their articles to our journal.

AQUAFOCUS is committed to the upholding of ethical journalism and preventing any ethical misconduct.

Articles submitted by authors must conform to the following ethical aspects:

Non-plagiarism:

Authors of all scientific articles must have written in original and all works if used from other sources or authors or publications must be appropriately cited or referenced.

Article deign and mapping:

A good scientific research article should be planned and properly designed in order to address the requirements of the subject or title of the paper. It should incorporate high quality standards in juxtaposition with supporting structures and design like pictures, tables, figures, graphs, citations, etc properly indexed and referenced at appropriate places in the article.

Local law compliance:

It is mandatory for all articles to have full compliance with both Local and international laws and agreements as applicable to the research and allied aspects of the article. The compliance includes all local, national, ethical, and regulatory laws and frameworks.

Accuracy:

Authors are themselves responsible for the facts and ideas stated in their articles, including the integrity of the research data and the various findings based on the data analyses. In case of multiple authors, at least one author (e.g., the main researcher or principal investigator) should be responsible for attesting the authenticity of the data and its analytics.

Error rectification:

If an author after submission notices any errors, it his responsibility to inform the editorial board of the rectifications to be incorporated well in time before final publication date.

Research on living specimens:

All research articles involving work related to the research on any life forms must follow the national and international laws and ethical guidelines as notified by the government from time-to-time.

Prior publications:

Any previous public publication of the article in any other journal must be notified to the editorial board.

Data analytics :

Research Data must be presented in its original aspects, with proper format following normal conventions , without bias or conflict to any social or cultural aspects and in consonae with laws and regulations.

Peer Review :

All research articles will be peer-reviewed by the Editors for maoinataining the highest standard of the journal. “Single-blind,” and “Double blind” peer review may also be undertaken if required.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest:

All authors are required to make their submissions disclosing any relationships that could be viewed as presenting a potential conflict of interest , if any, with other stakeholders, parties or systems in that line of research.

After submission, the editorial board will review every article as per the guidelines and ethic policies before acceptance for publishing.
