Biochemistry is an allied aspect of aqua feed and feed ingredients. The nutritional parameters including protein, fat, carbohydrate, ash, fibre, amino acid profile, fatty acid profile, etc., are playing a critical role in the feed and its ingredients. The biochemical assays are not only analysing the nutritional parameters of the ingredients or feed, but also make sure the quality of the ingredients as well as the feed. Moreover, the biochemical concept helps to improve the formulation of feed and feed additives. Our biochemistry laboratory was designed to carry out such specialised formulation for various feed and feed additives and examine their various qualitative and quantitative nutritional analysis.
