Spirulina Cultivation Unit

Spirulina is a single-cell protein, otherwise called blue-green algae or cyanobacteria. It contains high protein content ranged between 60 and 90%. This is a potential and proven growth enhancer and immune stimulant for the aquatic organisms due to not only its high protein content, but also due to the presence of high amount of anti-oxidant molecules, essential fatty acids and pigments. Considering its scientific importance, FAITT installed few spirulina cultivation units in its R&D system to enhance the culture knowledge about spirulina among the un-employed youth and train them as entrepreneurs to impact their socio-economic status.
